Rental Fulfillment
Day-of rental work uses three staff-facing checks — Ready, Out, and Back. The system still records the full custody ledger under the hood.

From a sales order’s Rentals section, use Delivery day (delivery orders) or Detail.
Before You Start
Fulfillment requires:
- A confirmed sales order
- A committed reservation
- No newer unconfirmed rental changes
- Enough equipment available for the step
- Secured collateral before Out, when a deposit is required and Require security deposit before dispatch is enabled in Rental Settings
Warning
Do not mark a step until the physical handoff occurs. Movement entries are part of the equipment audit trail.
Staff checks (Ready / Out / Back)
Pending ── Ready ──► Ready ── Out ──► Out ── Back ──► Back (on vehicle)

Pickup orders use Ready then Out only. Returns are received at the depot under Rentals → Returns.
Serialized lines show the units already on the job. Check them (or scan a tag to check the matching row), then mark the step. Scanning is still available under Or scan / paste codes.
Delivery day board
- Open Delivery for the event date.
- On each stop with rental lines, mark Ready, then Out (pooled equipment).
- Mark food Delivered separately when the stop is complete.
- Scroll to Returns due for equipment to collect — mark Back, then receive at depot if needed.
Serialized products open the reservation detail. Check the listed units (or scan a tag to check it), then mark the step.
Under the hood
Delivery Ready runs pick + load. Out runs dispatch + deliver (the return opens at dispatch). Back runs collect.
Pickup Ready runs pick. Out runs handoff.
The reservation Movements section still shows the full ledger for audit.
